Circa 1940 Walter Johnson Signed Photograph.
Only the great Cy Young notched more victories than the Big Train, who clowns around here with a couple buddies at some manner of banquet event. A striking white ink signature appears at bottom center of the image, contrasting perfectly against the dark background and presenting at a strength of 9/10. The photo itself exhibits no visible flaws, and measures 8x10" in size. A simple matting and framing extends the final dimensions of the piece to 11x14". Johnson autographs are quite tough, and particularly so on photographs. This unique and perfectly bold example should draw considerable bidding attention.

Jimmie Foxx Single Signed Baseball.
The evenly toned OAL (Harridge) baseball holds the single signature of one of the greatest power hitters of all time. Jimmie Foxx was only the second major league player to hit 500 career home runs. The sweet spot signature is light with scuffing that does partially obscure some of the autograph.

1951 New York Giants "Shot Heard Round The World" Scored Program with Pinback and Postcard.
Exceptional relic presented here comes from the date of the most famous home run in the history of baseball -- Bobby Thomson's epic "Shot Heard Round the World." On the third game of a playoff that was necessary to determine the 1951 National League pennant winner the Dodgers' Ralph Branca gave up a bottom of the ninth round-tripper to Thomson and the Polo Grounds, sending his Giants to a World Series match against the Yankees. The program from that game, which took place on October 3, 1951, has been completely scored in pencil, including the epic final play. Publication is in tremendous shape, and comes accompanied by an NL Champs pinback and a photo postcard depicting the Polo Grounds.

This earlier image by noted sports artist Ron Lewis preceded the entry of Phillies great Mike Schmidt into the elite club, and is signed by the ten living members at the time of the work's creation. Pictured, and signing in the boldest of blue or black sharpie, are Mantle, Killebrew, Williams, Jackson, Robinson, Mays, McCovey, Banks, Mathews and Aaron. The print is attractively matted and framed with a clever baseball diamond theme to final dimensions of 24x30.5". If you like your long balls honest and chemical-free, this is the piece for you.

1915 Cracker Jack Edward Murphy #165 SGC NM/MT 88
"Honest Eddie" entered the game under the tutelage of the great Connie Mack, for whom he played a strong outfield before being traded to the Chicago White Sox, where he remained through the scandalous 1919 season. It is possible, not definite, that a pin head-sized spot in the upper border is candy-related, and the borders are not quite even. Other than that, the card is in simply spectacular condition, with only one ever grading higher.

1963 Topps Pete Rose Signed Rookie #537, PSA Authentic.
Once the rookie card phenomenon of the 1980s. Here we have signatures of two rookie, Pete Rose and Ken McMullen. Carefully signed and placed blue sharpie signatures, very clear and easily read. 1963 cards with the blue bordering are tough to obtain in high condition. Our presentation here has rounded corners and centering that's just off the mark. In 1989, Rose was accused of being in massive debt to gamblers and of betting on his own team. He finally agreed to a deal in which he dropped his suit against baseball and accepted the lifetime suspension. VG/EX. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.

1931 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball.
The Brooklyn major league franchise was known as the Robins from 1914-31, winning two pennants in that span. From that final season as the Robins we present this Official National League (Heydler) orb with the signatures of no less than 15 players of that '31 team. Exceptional baseball with the black-and-red stitching used by league orbs of the day includes the fountain ink signatures of such stars as Dazzy Vance, Lefty O'Doul, Babe Herman, Johnny Frederick, Wally Gilbert, Gordon Slade, Al Lopez and more. While some spots of staining and foxing have affected certain regions of the orb, legibility remains tremendous, especially considering the advanced age of the piece.

Here we present an official score card from the Pittsburgh side of that Fall Classic, featuring images of the Pirate players interspersed among the publication's ads. The piece is in rather fragile condition, with the top edge having been damaged by a meeting with moisture. 1963 Topps Rookie All-Star Team Awards Program.
Beginning in 1959, Topps held a banquet to honor the year's top rookie stars as voted on by their major league peers. Here we present the souvenir program from the fifth annual awards ceremony held in 1963. This banquet took place during an era when Topps often put multiple up-and-coming stars on the same card due to the fact that their issues at the time were comprised of less than 600 cards. Due to this Pete Rose's premier card from the '63 Topps issue is shared with three other players with none of them represented with an image larger than a dime. In the program the players are each given a single page with a bio and statistics. Also included is an image, about the size of a standard Topps trading card, created to imitate the style of the '63 Topps issue. So here we can see what Topps' Pete Rose rookie may have looked had he been given his own card. Possibly due to a modest crowd in attendance at the Waldorf-Astoria these programs are a tough find, and many will clamor to own this rarity Pete Rose memento that hints at what could have been. The program is in excellent condition and is devoid of any major condition issues.
