Description
Circa 1940 Walter Johnson Signed Photograph. Only the great Cy Young notched more victories than the Big Train, who clowns around here with a couple buddies at some manner of banquet event. A striking white ink signature appears at bottom center of the image, contrasting perfectly against the dark background and presenting at a strength of 9/10. The photo itself exhibits no visible flaws, and measures 8x10" in size. A simple matting and framing extends the final dimensions of the piece to 11x14". Johnson autographs are quite tough, and particularly so on photographs. This unique and perfectly bold example should draw considerable bidding attention. LOA from PSA/DNA.
