Personal check from the Cincinnati Reds traveling secretary was likely issued to Heilmann as reimbursement for expenses incurred on the road during the Hall of Fame outfielder's last full season in the Bigs. Heilmann's endorsing signature is located on verso, inked with flawless 10/10 black fountain pen boldness. Bank stamping and punch coding do not infringe upon the autograph in the slightest.
