Description

1929 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. Dating from a Yankees visit to Comiskey Park, this OAL (Barnard) sphere offers the signatures of five of the game's participants, most notably that of the great Bambino, whose 6/10 to 7/10 fountain pen signature is the pick of the litter in condition as well. Also present, though a shade or two lighter, are White Sox Art "The Great" Shires (who beat the Babe to the sweet spot punch), Tait, Mostil and Hall of Famer Ted Lyons. A fan's notation reads, "Chicago, Ill., August 21, 1929, Kyle A. Vick" in 10/10 vintage ink. While Shires' signature does approach Ruth's on the side panel, the Babe still presents quite close to a single in nature, making this a relatively affordable chance to bring this essential component into your collection. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
