1970's Roger Maris Single Signed Baseball.
The 1961 home run hero's early passing in 1985 came shortly before the memorabilia explosion that would have made his signature available to the masses had he lived. So now serious autograph collectors are forced to fight it out for the rare singles that surface, and we're happy to help with this mid-grade example. The OAL (MacPhail) ball presents an 8/10 side panel signature and some scattered toning, but it still presents quite nicely and will serve to fill that empty space in your collection.

Branca and Thomson Signed 1951 Dodger and Giants Programs and Tickets.
1951 saw the occasion of the most famous National League playoff series in history. The "Shot Heard "Round the World" walk-off homerun hit by New York Giants outfielder Bobby Thomson off of Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Ralph Branca won the National League pennant. The offered lot consists most significantly of the playoff program from the fated Game 3, fully scored and signed on the cover by both Thomson and Branca. Additionally there is a 1951 Dodgers Game 1 program which has been partially scored (only the at-bats of Dem Bums have been recorded). This program from the series' only game played in Brooklyn may just prove to be tougher than those from Game 3. Lastly, from the same playoff series we present two complete tickets, one each from Game 2 and Game 3 of the series as well as a complete ticket from Game 3 of the 1951 World Series at the Polo Grounds. An exceptional pickup for the astute baseball historian.

1934 Tour of Japan Team Signed Baseball with Ruth, Foxx.
The stars of Our National Pastime embarked on a tour of the far east in 1934, making large strides in popularizing the game of baseball in that country. Many of the game's most-beloved stars led the circuit, with most notable inclusion coming from the maddeningly popular Babe Ruth. Here we present a fine collection of signatures from that '34 tour with the Great Bambino occupying his usual position on the sweet spot. At least seven other signatures are apparent on the surface, with such legible inclusions as Gehringer, Foxx, Cascarella, Averill, and Quinn. On the panel to the south of Ruth's autograph is text reading "Nagoya, Japan - November 193-," with the final digit of the year having become obscured due to a small gouge in the ball. The orb itself permeates a vintage patina of creamy brown, with the sweet spot region signed by Ruth having been stained with an area of darkness.

Polo Grounds Original Stadium Seat.
Restored seat from the hallowed New York City baseball mecca that was home to the Giants for a whopping 66 years beginning in 1891. The impressive wooden aisle seat includes the Giants interlocking "NY" logo font on its left side. Its original position in the park found a wall at its back as the only possible supports for it would involve bolting to a solid horizontal surface. A restoration in the paint department has been undergone, rendering its gray wooden and orange metal surfaces in sharp presentational condition. Black "24" has been stenciled onto the seat back.

1972 Miami Dolphins Perfect Season Team Signed Helmet.
The perfect season of the 1972 Miami Dolphins is the stuff that legends are made of. It scarcely seems possible that an NFL team could run the table, but they did as they finished 17-0 en route to collecting the Super Bowl Trophy. Here we offer a limited-edition Dolphins helmet that has been signed by the members of that terrific squad. The black sharpie autographs of Don Shula, Bob Griese, Garo Yepremian, Larry Little, Larry Csonka, Paul Warfield, Mercury Morris, Earl Morrall, Jim Kiick, and more. Limited-edition hand-numbered "50/272". More of a premium considering that their unbeaten season will stand yet another year after the seemingly unbeatable New England Patriots lost in Super Bowl XLII.

Circa 1920s Ossie Bluege Game Used Bat.
The Washington Senators' third baseman for the better part of his 18-year major league career, Ossie Bluege was a symbol of constancy for his side. Dating from the 1920s, we present this significant Hillerich & Bradsby game used pro model bat. The player's H&B endorsement is evidenced by the facsimile autograph that has been burned into the barrel. Some light ball marks pepper the barrel, but game use is most corroborated by the large crack in the handle. The 33" bat has visible lathe marks at either end. Great memento from the man who held fort as a Washington, D.C. accountant during his offseasons. One of the rarest of all Senators player-model bats.

1920s Princeton Athletics Vintage Garment Lot.

Here we present an immaculate collection of athletics-related apparel relating to the university dating from circa the 1920s. Also here is a vintage felt pennant which measures 34.5" inches and is in fine condition. offered here is an athletic tank, presumably a basketball jersey, sporting the school's traditional orange striping against the black shirt. Evidence of use is pronounced, with holes and team repairs across the mid section. The accompanying shorts include a button closure with a buckle at the waist and an orange felt stripe lines each side. Interior quilted padding has been sewn in at each hip. A large team repair on the verso has been employed to fix a large hole in the buttocks. Lastly, we present a handsome heavy knit letter sweater with felt "AFP" insignia attached at chest. This particular garment remains in top condition and fantastically retains the name of its previous owner, "Maurice F. Keen," embroidered on a small tag sewn in the collar.
