Description
Polo Grounds Original Stadium Seat. Restored seat from the hallowed New York City baseball mecca that was home to the Giants for a whopping 66 years beginning in 1891. The impressive wooden aisle seat includes the Giants interlocking "NY" logo font on its left side. Its original position in the park found a wall at its back as the only possible supports for it would involve bolting to a solid horizontal surface. A restoration in the paint department has been undergone, rendering its gray wooden and orange metal surfaces in sharp presentational condition. Black "24" has been stenciled onto the seat back.Auction Info
