Description
1960 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM-MT 8. Bill Mazeroski's Game Seven walk-off blast couldn't change the fact that this was one of the greatest Yankee editions ever, a team that claimed the American League pennant by eight games and doubled the scoring output of the Pirates in the seven-game Series. The 1960 roster is also nearly identical to the World Championship 1961 model, famous for the home run heroics of the M&M Boys. Both Mantle and Maris appear here in genuine format, with the Mick sharing sweet spot duties with a genuine Casey Stengel, another autograph rarely found in authentic format during this era. Actually, Stengel signed this ball twice. The non-secretarial appearance of all three pinstriped legends, and in such remarkably high grade, establishes this as arguably the best 1960 Yankees ball on Earth. The twenty-five autographs are assessed at a 9/10 level by the experts at PSA/DNA, with the OAL (Cronin) ball grading 7/10 for the combined rating as listed. Other notable signers include Ford, Berra, Skowron, Houk, Howard, Kubek, McDougald, Richardson, Terry and more. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM-MT 8.
