Description

1990's Ernie Banks Personally Owned Negro Leagues Leather Jacket. Ernie Banks' professional career began when he appeared with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1950. His Major League run eventually took root in Chicago. Mr. Cub owned this "NLBM Big Boy size 2XL" Negro Leagues leather jacket. Team emblems surround an oversized Negro Leagues Baseball reference on back. Both sleeve ends are occupied with more team logos. The jacket shows use so we know it had a special place in Banks' heart. Letter of provenance from the Estate of Ernie Banks.
