1936 Alexander (Sandy) Herd Signed Photograph. Alexander (Sandy) Herd had the misfortune of competing against The Great Triumvirate but broke through in 1902 with a win in the Open Championship at Hoylake. This is a beautiful studio portrait photo, signed boldly as Alex Herd and dated Aug 25, 1936. While personalization is a little light in spots, the autograph itself rates an unimprovable 10/10.
