1990 Ryne Sandberg All-Star Game Worn Jersey. Solid photo matches to front and back (www.GettyImages.com image numbers 80990336 and 94683140) help to designate the presented jersey as one of the finest Sandberg representations in the hobby, though the appeal hardly stops there. This pinstriped beauty was worn by the Hall of Fame Chicago Cub as he did his hometown crowd proud with an All-Star Game appearance at Wrigley Field. The starting second baseman for the National League side put solid wear into the presented shirt, indicating use well beyond the Midsummer Classic. Logo "Cubs" patch covers the heart, with a second logo patch on the left sleeve and the All-Star Game patch on the right, worn by the entire Cubs team throughout the 1990 season. A simple blue tackle twill number "23" is applied to verso. "Rawlings [size] 44" label in tail is applied above an embroidered swatch denoting "23 90 1 44T." A "1 Inch Extra Length" tag resides to the right. The crowning touch comes in the form of a 10/10 black sharpie signature, underscored with a "1990 All-Star Game" notation. LOA from Lou Lampson.
