Description

1921 Standard Biscuit D350 Babe Ruth SGC Good 30. Appropriating the visuals of the scarce American Caramel Series of 80 (E121) set of the same year, the Standard Biscuit is considered rarer still, with the Babe far and away the key card in the set. Interestingly, though the caption on front reads "Babe Ruth, R.F. - New York Americans," the photographic image is of the Babe pitching in a Red Sox uniform, an image that would be worth a mint in any vintage format, much less a sports card. Condition is remarkable for a treasure of such advanced age, though any representation would top the population charts of both SGC and PSA, as this is the only one that either has seen.
