Description

1986 Len Bias Boston Celtics Jacket & Sneakers from the Len Bias Collection. More sad reminders of what could have been, this jacket and pair of sneakers were presented to Bias by the storied franchise on Draft Day, yet never worn. The jacket is quilted nylon in classic Celtics green, with the team nickname sewn across the chest in white and yellow and shamrock patches on the sleeves. The NBA logo patch is found at the right hip pocket. "Starter [size] XXL" label is sewn inside collar. The forest green "Converse All-Star" sneakers, which were destined to carry this collegiate star to professional greatness, also remain in new condition. Size "14" tagging inside each. How different basketball history might have been had Len lived to wear the special pieces in this lot.
