Description

1985-86 Len Bias Playboy All-American Presentational Jacket & Practice Worn Sneakers from the Len Bias Collection. Forget the Final Four--the biggest thrill of any collegiate basketball player's life is the receipt of an invitation to the Playboy Mansion to be awarded the coveted title of "Playboy All-American." Presented here is the black and white jacket presented to Bias for his being named to the 1985-86 team, as the screened logo over the heart attests. "Bias" is screened across the back. "Speedline [size] L" tagging is inside collar. Light wear. Also here is a pair of heavily-worn Nike high top sneakers, potentially game worn but more likely to have been used at practice. Each contains proper size "14 1/2" markings inside, with handwritten number "34" on the underside of each shoe's tongue. LOA from Lou Lampson.
