1933 Goudey Baseball High Grade Near Set (238/239). The 1933 Goudey baseball set is considered the king of the early gum card issues and it's easy to see why with its tremendous artwork, colors, and multiple Hall of Famers including Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Hornsby, Hubbell, Ott. This is an amazingly consistent complete high grade set which is only missing the Babe Ruth #149 card. With over 50% having been graded, that leaves only a little bit of leg work to get the rest of this set done. A total of 126 cards have been graded by SGC with an aggregate SMR value of $55,780.
