Description
1960's Dizzy Dean Signed Baseball. "The good Lord was good to me," Dizzy once said. "He gave me a strong body, a good right arm, and a weak mind." It was as much for his easy country charm as for his tremendous skills that Dean was a beloved fixture of the Gas House Gang-era Cardinals, and a successful broadcaster in the years following his playing days. This "Official Youth League" ball was almost certainly signed as Dean tended to his radio duties, and his side panel autograph presents as an 8/10 single. An autograph from "Skeeter" Webb on the side panel is all that saves this one from being a rare and very expensive single, but upon display the ball will fool them all. LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
