Description
1908 American League Publishing Company Ty Cobb SGC 10 Poor 1. All but two players from this scarce postcard issue, designated PC770, were contemporary members of the Cleveland Indians ballclub, and here we find one of those exceptions (Honus Wagner is the other). The most valuable card in the set of sixteen, Cobb is pictured in a batting and portrait pose on the front. Postal use accounts for the grade as listed, with writing, postmark and stamp on verso. Still worthy of consideration by advanced collectors, as most will find this missing from their Cobb holdings.
