Description

Mid-1990s Alex Rodriguez Game Used Bat. While he continues one of the finest offensive seasons ever put up by a New York Yankee, we make a call back to an earlier time when Alex Rodriguez was still with the Seattle Mariners. The kid was simply stunning once he earned the full-time shortstop position, finishing second in AL All-Star voting at the tender age of 20 in 1996. Here we offer one of his game-used weapons of choice from that era when he was showing the world what his game was about for the first time. The red Louisville Slugger C271 shows nice wear, with numerous bat rack marks, a smattering of light ball marks, and a layer of pine tar on the handle. Knob end of bat has a sharpie "A Rod" penned there and bat dons Rodriguez' hologram authentication sticker.
