FC Dallas "Player for a Day" Fan Experience with Team Signed Soccer Ball.

UPDATE: Text at the bottom of this listing regarding the authentication documentation that accompanies the signed soccer ball has been added since the bidding began.

Soccer was there, for a moment, then it wasn't: FC Dallas played only two matches this year before play was suspended in mid-March as a result of COVID-19. But the club's extraordinary generosity hasn't been sidelined: When approached about participating in the "In This Together" event for the North Texas Food Bank, FC Dallas immediately offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: the chance to be an FC Dallas Player For a Day.

The lucky winner of this auction will sign a first-team contract and get the full player-signing treatment: a video produced about his/her signing, an actual contract and a full FC Dallas kit. The winner will also have the opportunity to train with the FC Dallas first team during an upcoming training session.

Since it might be a while before everyone is allowed back on the pitch, that Player for a Day experience will take place at a later, mutually agreed on date. But fret not: FC Dallas is throwing in a ball signed by the entire team -- including Jesus Ferreira, last year's breakout star, and Matt Hedges, who holds the club record for starts -- available for immediate pick-up. Date to be mutually agreed upon by winning bidder and FC Dallas.
