1930 Jules Rimet World Cup Trophy Presented to Captain of Uruguay Team in 1950. Gold plated bronze World Cup trophy is affixed to a restored ebonised plinth and background, with plaque above with date ''1930'' and plaque to the bottom engraved "Jose Nasazzi." This trophy was presented to Nasazzi by the Uruguayan football Association in 1950 as one of the surviving winning players from the 1930 World Cup winning team. Height of trophy measures approximately 8.5''.

Nasazzi is regraded by many as Uruguay's greatest football player. He was known as ''El Gran Mariscal'' (The Great Marshal) and had already won the gold medal at the 1924 and 1928 Olympic Games, as well as the South American Championship in 1923, 1924 and 1926. He became the first captain to lift the Jules Rimet Trophy in 1930.
