1996 Alex Rodriguez All-Star Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7 with "1996 All Star Game Bat" Inscribed. In 1996, Alex Rodriguez emerged as a burgeoning superstar, captivating baseball fans with his remarkable talent at just 20 years old. The Seattle Mariners shortstop earned his first All-Star selection after batting .358 with power, speed, and exceptional defense. His appearance on baseball's biggest midsummer stage introduced him to a national audience and elevated his profile beyond Seattle. Becoming an All-Star often serves as a milestone that validates a player's excellence, increases media attention, and expands endorsement opportunities. For Rodriguez, the honor helped establish him as one of the game's brightest young stars and a future face of Major League Baseball.

This Louisville Slugger model C271 bat (33.75" and 31.8 ounces) is attributed to the Mid-Summer Classic. A-Rod signed the barrel end in silver paint pen and added "1996 All Star Game Bat" near his autograph. The youngster registered one at-bat, a single, during the game. John Taube's analysis reveals Rodriguez did use a black Louisville Slugger bat. He states the following in his letter of authenticity: "However, details do not allow us to confirm a match of the subject bat with the bat being used by Arod during the 1996 All-Star Game."

Light use is exhibited on the bat with a slight handle crack on the upper and lower handle which has been repaired. A small chip is visible on the lower handle. Numerous ball marks appear on the right barrel as is an impression of a batting donut. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7.
