    1970 Davis Cup Championship Ring Presented to Arthur Ashe.

    Arthur Ashe was so much more than a tennis star. Humanitarian and trailblazer also come to mind when one thinks of Ashe's impact on society. The tennis great became the first black player selected to an United States Davis Cup team when he was included on the 1963 squad. This ring was presented to Ashe following the team's championship. "Davis Cup Champion" surrounds a blue stone and centered diamond. Four smaller diamonds are fitted under the main diamond. Left shank features a David Cup trophy while the opposite side has "1970 United States vs. West Germany" engraved. "10k" and "Arthur Ashe" are stamped inside. Measures to a size eleven and a half (11.5) and weighs twenty-two grams (22g.).
