1930 British Figure Skating Championships Gold Medal Presented to Gertrude Kathleen Shaw. Miss Gertrude Kathleen Shaw was a three-time British national champion, between 1927-1930, and two-time Olympian, who competed in the 1924 and 1928 Games. Striking 9K gold medal features an elegant male skater performing on a frozen pond, while the reverse is beautifully engraved with:

"National Skating Association of Great Britain, Figure Skating Championships, International Style. 1930 Winner Miss G.K. Shaw, Manchester."

Measures approximately thirty-eight millimeters (38MM) in diameter, weighs approximately twenty-one grams (21g.) and presents in NM condition. Accompanied by its original stately burgundy leather presentation case (EX-MT) produced by the Alexander Clarke Company of London. A stunning and refined display piece.
