    Description

1936 Letter and Press Pass from the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. From the historic 1936 Olympics in Berlin, when the world faced a conundrum of whether to compete in Adolph Hitler's home country, comes this interesting letter on American Olympic Committee letterhead. The typed letter references the payment of fees for an Astoria Park swim meet for final Olympic tryouts. Letter shows two horizontal folds, some staining and a few chips. Also included is a Press Pass stub to the Astoria Tryouts with creases and tears.
