Description
1966 Topps "Lost In Space" Empty Wax Box Plus Three Wrappers. Much like Star Trek and The Monkees, Lost in Space was a television series that aired for a short time, just three seasons (83 episodes), all airing from September 1965 to March 1968 but lasting for generations thanks to syndication and cable channels. Early episodes focused on the Robinson family plus the famous Dr. Smith, Will Robinson and his robot. There was a "Lost in Space" movie in 1998. Offered is a scarce empty wax box designed to house twenty-four, 5-cent packs. The unfamiliar graphic is from one of the two original pilots titled, "One-Eye the Cyclops." The tri-color box has light creases to the top panel and presents at the near-mint level. Also included are three excellent looking wrappers that display two different special offers. A scarce box and a great addition to any 1960's vintage non-sports collection.Auction Info
