    Description

1933 Gum, Inc. R109 Pirate's Picture Bubble Gum #35 Blank Back PSA 5.5 EX+. With just a fast review, this appears to be just a circulated card that escaped the part of printing process that gave us the back copy. After considering the origin, this rarity is quite possibly a unique printer's proof. This is not one of the thin paper versions of these popular cards. Instead, it is printed on the standard heavy card stock that was used for the set. A total of two different blank-backed examples were discovered in the estate holdings of a leading collector. There obviously should be at least 22 others in addition to this example of card #35 Waiting To Attack. (as Gum, Inc. was known to print their cards on 24-card sheets), but to date there are the only two known blank-backed survivors. This is one of a unique pair of enticing collectibles.
