    Description

1888 E273 G&B Chewing Gum A. G. Thurman SGC 20 Fair 1.5. To history, Senator Allen G. Thurman of Ohio was known as the vice-president who was elected to office after Thomas Hendricks died in office in 1885 after only eight months. To the hobby, Thruman appears on a very rare E273 series of political candidates produced by G&B Gum in 1888. Graded SGC 20 Fair 1.5, the card has a identifiable image and most condition issues affect the reverse including glue residue, soiling and small spots of surface loss but this is the only E273 to be graded by SGC and PSA has yet to grade a single example!
