    Description

Extremely Rare 1935 R90 "Mickey Mouse with the Movie Stars" SGC-Graded Partial Set (13/24). Hobbyists who pursue the R89 series featuring Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Disney gang consider their sets complete with 96 cards. Not so, a very rare high number series exists (#'d 97-120) which is listed separately in the ACC as R90. The separation is due to change in format as this rare final segment is titled "Mickey Mouse with the Movie Stars" and is extremely rare compared to the first 96 cards. Each card features a cartoon pairing Mickey with a Hollywood star of the era and copy on the reverse where consumers guess who the star is. . This presentation includes: Graded - SGC 60 EX 5: 7 cards, #'s 97, 98, 99 Gaucho Marx, 100 Will Rogers, 103, 113 Garbo and 119; SGC 50 VG/EX 4: 3 cards, #'s 102, 111 Karloff and 116; SGC 40 VG 3: 106 Chaplin and 109 Durante; SGC 30 Good 2: 1 card, #101.
