1968 Topps Test "Land of The Giants" Original Art Collection (11). Topps' "Land of The Giants" series from 1968 is one the scarcest Topps test productions of the modern era. The fronts featured color images, the backs featured a cartoon narrative, card # and copyright information. This presentation contains 11 pieces of original art produced to appear on the reverse side of one of the 55 cards. Each is a unique, one-of-a-kind, ink over pencil drawing on white illustration board, mounted to a slightly larger piece of black illustration board. All art is contained inside a 5" x 3" area with boards measuring approx. 5" x 7." Included is the art to cards #'s: 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 17, 19, 34, 35, 43 and 44. Ten are paired with color mock ups of the final cards. #19 comes with a real card in good condition plus four plastic transparencies for creating final printing plates.
