    Description

1967 Topps "Who Am I?" Complete Set (44) - #1 on the SGC Set Registry! Rank: #1 on the SGC Set Registry with an 88.6 GPA. What do kids dread the most? Eating their veggies at dinner and trading cards that are educational. Topps solved the "educational cards" problem with their "Who Am I?" series from 1967. Youngsters had to guess who the famous person was based on provided factual hints. If they didn't know the answer all they had to do was remove the goofy looking scratch-off disguise. Today, the four baseball subjects are the most popular and this set offers NM-MT 88 examples of each. Considering how most cards were scuffed-up after the disguises were removed, this all Near Mint or better assembly is no small accomplishment. Lots of sharp corners and glossy surfaces in this offering. Includes: Graded - SGC 96 MINT 9: 3 cards, #'s 9, 38 Revere and 39; SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5: 6 cards, #'s 4, 7 Henry VIII, 10 Napoleon, 20, 21 Columbus and 28; SGC 88 NM/MT 8: 27 cards, #'s 2, 5, 8, 11, 12 Babe Ruth, 14, 15 Caesar, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22 Mantle, 23, 25 Lincoln, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 Mays, 35, 37, 41 Koufax, 42, 43, and 44; SGC 86 NM+ 7.5: 5 cards, #'s 3, 6, 13, 24 and 40; SGC 84 NM 7: 3 cards, #'s 1 Washington, 34 and 36.
