1966 Topps R705-10 "Green Hornet" Stickers Complete Set (44) With Display Box. Van Williams brought to life the masked hero the "Green Hornet" via the television for the 1966-67 viewing season. This serious (unlike the Batman series of the same era) version introduced a young martial arts champion Bruce Lee as "Kato" his trusted sidekick. The show lasted but for one year but The popularity of Bruce Lee is now legendary and the his following in Hong Kong was such that the show was promoted s "The Kato Show." The empty wax box presents at the VG level. Includes - #'s 1 (NM), 6 (NM/MT), 17 Kato (NM), 21 (NM/MT), 24 (NM/MT), 28 (NM), 29 (NM/MT), 44 (EX). Grades 25% NM to NM/MT, 57% EX to EX/MT, 18% VG to VG/EX includes a couple miscut cards.Auction Info
