    Description

1966 Donruss "Green Hornet" High Grade Complete Set (44), Display Box, Wrapper and Gum - From Freshly Opened Packs! Donruss landed the rights for the newly introduced "Green Hornet" TV show in 1966 with Van Williams as the Green Hornet. The show also introduced viewers to "Kato," the Hornet's trusted sidekick played by a young martial arts champion named Bruce Lee. This high end presentation is a nostalgic trip back in time. A recently discovered box with unopened packs proved too tempting, their contents set free after nearly a half-century. The wrapper presents NM+ with circulation fold lines, the display box presents at the EX level with slight buckling to top panel. Eleven cards have been graded by PSA. Include: Graded - PSA Mint 9: 3 cards, #'s 24, 25 and 33; PSA NM-MT 8: 7 cards, #'s 5, 7, 13, 14, 15, 20 and 22; PSA NM 7: 1 card, #1. Grades 45% NM to NM/MT with three MINT, 39% EX/MT, 16% slightly lesser (due to gum stains). Also included are five slabs of gum with one uncracked... please, don't even think about it.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
