    1959 Fleer "Three Stooges" Near Set (74/96). Everybody's favorite slapstick comedy trio were documented on cardboard by the folks at Fleer who issued this ninety-six card set at the height of Larry, Curly and Moe's fame. "Soitenly" the most successful comedy of all-time; Moe, Larry and either Curly, Shemp or Joe starred in 195 Columbia Studio Shorts between 1934 and 1958. It wasn't until this series appeared in 1959 that the comedic geniuses made their trading card debut. Missing a total of 22 cards #'s 10, 13, 14, 25, 30, 40, 42, 45, 49, 51, 57, 58, 62, 66, 73, 74, 77, 81, 87, 90, 91, 94. Includes: #'s 1 Curly (VG), 2 Moe (VG.), 3 Larry (EX). Grades 7% NM to NM/MT, 43% EX to EX/MT, 50% VG to VG/EX with two lesser.
