1953 F280-3 Rice Chex "Space Patrol" PSA-Graded Partial Set (11). Offered is a collection of eleven different F280-3 "Space Patrol" cards which saw circulation in the early 1950's. Inspiration for these rare 2-3/16" x 3-5/16" cards was the immensely popular radio and television show which aired from 1950 to 1955. Cards came inside Rice Chex and Wheat Chex brand cereal but many cards have been found hand cut suggesting availability via an uncut sheet. PSA has only graded a little over 300 total cards with the healthiness (read: low sugar) of the Chex brands also adding to their hard to find status. Each card has been graded PSA. Includes: PSA NM-MT 8: 2 cards, Danger-Meteor Shower and Stardrive; PSA NM 7: 5 cards, Emergency In Space, Experimental Rocket, Ready For Action, Rocket Carrier Ship, Rocket Over Canali; PSA EX-MT+ 6.5: 2 cards, Solar Disintegrator Ray and War of The Planets; PSA EX 5: 2 cards, Lunar Gyro Jet and Saucer Attack.
