    1951 Bowman "Red Menace" Complete Set (48). Bowman Gum, Inc. went controversial with the gum makers 1951 release of these "Children's Crusade Against Communism" trading cards. Well produced and graphic, this set features colorful, painted imagery designed to showcase pivotal events, military leaders, and the potential effects of nuclear calamities. In total, 12 cards have been graded by PSA. Includes - Graded - PSA EX+ 5.5: 1 card, #38 Collins; PSA EX 5: 10 cards, #'s 8, 10, 15, 20, 24 General "Ike" In Command, 26, 27, 29, 35 and 39; PSA VG 3: 1 card, #1 Reds Invade South Korea. Ungraded - #'s 23 Ghost City (VG/EX) and 47 Mao Tse-Tung (PR). Grades 87% VG to EX with one nicer, 13% lesser.
