    Description

1940's R184 Type 2 "Indian Chiefs" Complete Sets (4) In Original Uncut Strips. The R184 series of "Indian Chiefs" was one of the multitude of 1940's strip card issues characterized by cheap stock, simple illustrations or one-color photos for cheap production--after all, there was a war going on. This lot offers not one but four complete 24-card sets in the form of 8-card uncut strips as they were originally issued. The set features Native American leaders like Little Wolf, Red Cloud and Sitting Bull. The strips present at the EX/MT to NM levels with any wear universally limited to the exposed corners of the top and bottom cards. A terrific item for wall display.
