The 1930's was a grand era for the movies with many tobacco and gum related issues being produced both here and abroad. Offered is a high grade 24-card complete set of "Prominent Screen Favorites" produced for Rothmans Ltd. in 1934 for the English market. Includes: Graded - SGC 96 Mint 9: 16 cards, Bartlam/Facing Left, Bartlam/Facing Right, Boyd, Browne, Dell, Earle, Fox, Grey/Seated, Grey/Leaning Left, Grey/Standing, Kelly, Loff, Osborne, Stockfeld/Standing, Wong and Wyncham; SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5: 4 cards, Bartlam, Bouchier, Duncan and Sherry; SGC 88 NM/MT 8: 3 cards, Bartlam /Hands Over Head, Dvorak and Stockfeld; SGC 84 NM 7: 1 card, Angel.
