    Description

1930s American Mint R43-2 "Minute Man" and R43-3 "Trooper" Partial Sets Pair (2). In the 1930's American Mint produced colorful candy containers featuring men in military clothing from ten different countries using each for three different named promotions. Today, they are very scarce with few complete or close to complete sets being made available and certainly not in such magnificent condition as the offered examples. This presentation offers near sets of two promotions. Includes: 1930s R43-2 American Mint "Minute Man" (9) - Near Set 9 of 10 containers. Includes: China, England, Ethiopia, France, Italy, Russia, Scotland, Turkey and United States. Missing Sweden. Also has 13 coupon good to exchange for prizes like Bank, Water Pistol, Baseball or Yo-Yo Top; 1930s R43-3 American Mint "Trooper" Near Set (6/10) - Near Set 6 of 10 containers. Includes: Ethiopia, France, Italy, Russia, Scotland and Sweden. Amazingly, every item has the base plug and top cap intact. There is no way these could have seen public circulation. With one exception they are as close to Mint as one could ever hope for.
