    Description

1910-Era SC1 Silks "Animals with Flags" Near Set (36/55) - One in Original(?) Wax Paper Envelope. Offered is a rarely made available 36-piece near set of Canadian SC1 silks of "Animals with Flags." Most of these 2-1/8" x 3-1/4" colorful silks have retained both upper and lower borders. The silks number between 1 and 55 and present in overall excellent condition (some nicer) with few below the very-good level (one is small). One silk (#16) has the original thin card stock mount and is in a wax paper envelope. It has been presented to us in an envelope that the silk was originally circulated in but we cannot confirm that with 100% certainty. The silk is about as close to Mint as they come. A scarce chance to acquire a nice group of silks of Canadian origin.
