1888 N84 Duke & Sons "Playing Cards" Collection (48) - With & Without Symbols. The tobacco card may have been a recent invention but playing cards was a time old tradition. Offered is a 48-card nearly completed deck (or set) of Duke & Sons N84 "Playing Cards" produced in 1888. Although you could easily play card games with these, this presentation escaped that fate and have survived the last 125 years in pretty nice overall condition. There are cards both with and without numbers/symbols in alternate corners. Ten cards have been graded by PSA. Includes: Graded - PSA NM 7: 1 card; PSA EX-MT 6: 9 cards. Overall - By suite: Diamonds (9) - One duplicate; Hearts (12) - Two duplicates; Clubs (14) - Three Duplicates; Spades (13) - Three duplicates. Grades EX to NM with a few miscut.
