    Early 1950's Western "Champ" Hartland Statue Pair (2) - One Still Sealed in Original Box. Dating to the early 1950's, this "Western Champ" was part of the first Hartland offerings. The 900 Series line was noted for its larger size, the 800 series was for smaller size editions. The presented pair includes one which is as about as pristine of a collectible you'll ever find. The first "Western Champ" is still sealed inside the 11-1/4" x 12-1/4" x 3-1/2" original Hartland mailing box. On side panel shows faint moisture staining but there is no sign of mold or mildew. Hartland shipping tape is completely undisturbed, the "To" and "From" areas have not been filled out. The side panel identifies the contents via circles surrounding "901" and "PAL" for the style of (palomino) horse. The other comes inside an original mailing box as well. The rider, hat and pistols are near-mint, the golden brown horse has some slight scuff marks on abdomen area but is mint otherwise. This is not the easiest Hartland to find, let alone a pair in their original mailing containers - one still-sealed!
