1971 Topps "Brady Bunch" Proof Uncut Sheet with Printer's Notes and Initials! "The Brady Bunch" has become one of the most beloved TV shows in broadcast history. Generations of kids grew up to the story of a lovely lady who was bringing up three very lovely girls and a man named Brady who was busy with three boys of his own. When the show first aired in 1969 to 1974 it wasn't a ratings smash hit but lived on in syndication and even inspired full-length moves made some 20 years after the original series aired.In 1971, Topps jumped on the Brady bandwagon and issued an 88-card series featuring scenes from the TV show. With a copyright date of 1969 that is solely about the TV series. Today, the cards aren't the most common sets of the 70s and many believe the cards were circulated far beyond the "test" stage. Which is why we are so pleased to offer this possibly unique printer's proof sheet. Unlike many sheet that are just printer scrap or just part of the standard printing, this is a true proof sheet that displays 33 cards in full color (a second sheet with the other 55 cards is known but is just in black and white). Multiple client notes (including adding red) and authorizing initials leave the ultimate level of authenticity and is the only sheet in full color. Fantastic condition with no major faults. Framed under plexiglass to an overall size of 33" x 27."
