With disturbing events surely heading for war, Gum Inc seemed to break out all the stops and circulate any and every piece of war related art or photos they could find. Seven cards have been graded by SGC. Includes: 1941 R157 "Uncle Sam/Home Defense" (18) - #'s 5, 7, 8, 9 (2), 16 (SGC 40 VG 3), 17 (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), 20, 27 (Canadian- SGC 86 NM+ 7.5), 28, 35, 39, 42, 46, 47, 49, 50, 53 (2, one is SGC 60 EX 5), 54, 55 (2, one is SGC 40 VG 3), 61 (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), and 62. Grades 56% EX to EX/MT, 44% VG to VG/EX; 1939 R165 Gum Inc. "War News Pictures" (33) - #'s 6, 7, 12, 14, 15, 22, 25, 46, 47, 52, 61, 87, 88, 89, 90 (2: One is SGC 86 NM+ 7.5), 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 101, 107, 103, 123, 124 and 125. Grades 70% EX to EX/MT with one nicer, 30% VG to VG/EX with a couple lesser due to glue residue.
