Offered is a true collector's collection of card collectibles produced by various firms during WW II and the cold war era. Includes: 1938 Gum Inc. "Horrors of War" (1) - #85 (Poor); 1939 Gum Inc. "World In Arms" (1) - #6M (Poor); 1930's Goudey "Action Gum" (1) - #58 (Poor); Early 1940's Anonymous "U.S.A. and Foreign War Planes" (24) Plus Original Envelope - Envelope is Poor with writing. Approx. 6" x 4-1/2" prints are mainly EX; 1940's W.H. Brady "Commando-Ranger Pictograms" (2) - #'s CR20 (GD) and CR-59 (PR); 1940 Goudey "First Column Defenders" (1) - #15 (PR); 1941 Gum Inc. "Uncle Sam" (11) - With duplicates. Grades PR to GD; 1941 Gum Inc. "War Gum " (30) - With duplicates. Grades PR to GD; 1940's W.S. Corp and M.P. & Co. Strip cards (27) - Four different series represented, no duplication. Grades PR to FR; 1940's Leaf Card-O "Aeroplanes" (8) - Three different series represented. Grades PR to GD; 1940's Whitman Publishing "Squadron Scramble" Playing Card Decks (2) - Both boxes are FR to PR. Playing cards mostly EX/MT to NM. One set is missing instruction card; 1940's Unknown MFG War Plane Stamps (43) - Mostly all different, appears to be from at least two distinct editions. Grades mainly EX; 1950-51 Topps "Freedom's War" (6) - #'s 77, 86, 91, 93, 95, 96. Grades GD due to ink marks on fronts.
