    1880's-1940's Trade Cards and Post Cards (17 pieces) - Most Comics Related with '16 Charlie Chaplin Postcard. The high level of preservation contradicts the fact most of this lot is well over a century old. What a fun selection. Includes:

    A) 1880's Trade card trio: F&W Co. card featuring Palmer Cox's "Brownies" (FR, tape repair); Two imitating Palmer Cox's "Brownies" creations, one FR due to tape on reverse, the other has been hand cut down to approx. 3x4";

    B) 1904 New York American post card "Valentine Greetings" featuring Raphael Tuck's "Hooligan" character (3) - Used postcards in generally very good to excellent condition except for use in mail. Two mention "Series No. 11" in copy on reverse;

    C) 1906 American Journal Examiner "Heat Up" Comic post cards (3) - Unused postcards featuring - Jimmy, Foxy Grandpa and Katzjammer Kids. All three have at least one edge that is hand cut, all excellent in presentation;

    D) Early Comic Strip character postcards - 3 different. "In Clover" from 1906. Scarce multi-character PC (EX with pencil mark on reverse), Circa 1916 post card with Charlie Chaplin (VG, unused in mail) and Buffalo Courier Express "Jolly Junior Sunshine Club" post card featuring a dozen comic characters including Annie and Bringing Up Father (VG).

    E) 1930's Cromwell "Bringing up Father" tobacco card from South Africa (EX);

    F) 1942 WWII serviceman postcards (2) - Popeye (King Features, NM) and Dick Tracy (Famous Artists, EX/MT);

    G) 1940's Richfield Gasoline WWII Era Combat Airplane premiums - 2 examples (Bell Airacobra and Vickers Wellington), both EX to EX/MT.
