1950 Bowman "Wild West" High Grade Complete Set (180). Modification to catalog copy reflected in italicized text below:For a bunch of "yanks" based in the big city of Philadelphia, the Bowman art department deserves a loud "Yah-hoo" for the high quality illustrations which set apart this classic release. This presentation offers a stunning display of colors, each richly detailed portrait or scene surrounded by a snowy white border. The 12 cards graded 96 MINT 9 and 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 are the only examples to date to attain these lofty grades by the largely conservative SGC service. Also, six of the 88 NM/MT 8 cards are the highest graded cards recorded to date. Scarcely found as a complete set of this notable quality. Highlights include: Graded Cards - SGC 96 MINT 9: 8 cards w/#'s A-33, B-11, B-19, D-3, D-6, E-16, E-20 and H-18; SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5: 4 cards w/#'s A-30, D-13, G-16 and H-20; SGC 88 NM/MT 8: 35 cards w/#'s A-10, A-21, A-24, A-29, A-37, B-1, B-6, C-6, C-11 Chief Joseph, C-12 Sam Houston, C-16 Sitting Bull, C-18, C-20, D-9, E-1, E-3, E-5, E-8, E-11, F-2, F-7, F-9, F-10, F-16, F-17, G-3, G-7, G-11, G-12, G-17, H-9, H-10, H-11, H-17 and H-19; SGC 86 NM+ 7.5: 6 cards w/#'s A-6, A-7, A-11, B-7, C-15 Geronimo and F-12; SGC 84 NM 7: 10 cards w/#'s A-2, A-3, A-12, A-27, A-32, A-34, C-13, D-1, D-4 and E-6.
