1976 Topps Star Trek (88+22) and 1979 Topps Star Trek (88) Complete Set Pair (2). Offered are two complete sets of Topps "Star Trek" cards and stickers. The "Star Trek" television program and movies continues to be the inspiration for a vast array of memorabilia and collectibles. Naturally, bubblegum cards are a popular choice. When "Star Trek" first aired on television it only lasted three seasons and was canceled but evolved into a cultural phenomenon that continues to this day. Presented are two complete sets: 1976 Topps "Star Trek" (88+22) Plus Wrapper. Topps issued this set of 88 card and 22 stickers featuring the crew of the Starship Enterprise in 1976 when the animated series was all the rage among trekkies and ignited a movement that eventually lead to the first of many full-length movies starting in 1979. The wrapper presents at the EX level with the normal folds. A total of 9 cards have been graded by PSA. Highlights include: Graded - PSA MINT 9: 7 cards, #'s 28, 44, 46, 74, 86, 6 Sticker and 16 Sticker; PSA NM-MT 8: 2 cards, #'s 82 and 87. Grades 90% NM to NM/MT, 10% EX to EX/MT 1979 Topps "Star Trek" (88) Plus Wrapper - The sets tracked the crew's exploits with color photos from the television show (1976) and first feature movie since the 1960's. The 1979 Topps wrapper presents NM with one edge chip, the set grades 90% EX/MT to NM/MT, 10% slightly lesser (almost exclusively due to centering).Shipping, Taxes, Terms and Bidding
