1968 A & BC Gum "Superman in the Jungle" Near Set (59/66). Missing #'s 10, 24, 33, 35, 39, 45, 54. It's no secret that the year 1966 belonged to Batman. Topps would produce a card set featuring everyone's favorite Man of Steel in a jungle surrounding of all places but limited distribution to just a test market making them a rare commodity in the current market. The concept obviously didn't fly in the American market but two years later A & BC Gum (Topps UK) did distribute "Superman in the Jungle" using the same artwork allowing collectors to enjoy this colorful edition. Grades 86% EX to EX/MT, 14% VG to VG/EX (a couple lesser).Guide Value or Estimate: $300 - up.
