Description

1966 A&BC Gum Batman - Red Bat High Grade Complete Set (44).
    NOTE:Thirteen cards have been graded.

In 1966, nothing was more popular than Batman. The popularity of the dynamic duo was due to a live action television show which aired across the pond as well. The first gum cards featured the illustrative talents of Norm Saunders and a team of top-notch artisans. We are all familiar with the common Topps version, offered is a high grade 44-card complete set of Batman, Red Bat "Series A" cards but these are the A&BC Gum variety, and a very strong gallery of them if we must say. A total of 13 cards have been graded by PSA. Includes: Graded - PSA MINT 9: 9 cards, #'s 10, 16, 17, 30, 34, 35, 36, 38, 40; PSA NM-MT 8: 3 cards, #'s 5, 15, 20; PSA EX-MT 6: 1 card, #4. Grades 55% NM to NM/MT, 36% EX to EX/MT, 9% lesser.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
