Description

1959 Fleer "Three Stooges" Complete Set (96). The physical slapstick antics and quick retorts of the Three Stooges made eyes water and bellies jiggle with laughter for almost 50 years. Fleer would honor the loveable trio with trading card sets twice, once in 1959 and again in 1966. Modern hobbyists have made this 1959 edition of 96 cards one of, if not the most widely pursued series of the 20th Century. In total, 14 cards have been graded by PSA. Includes: Graded Cards - PSA NM-MT+ 8.5: 1 card, #77; PSA NM-MT 8: 10 cards w/#'s 18, 24, 30, 44, 46, 47, 55, 70, 71 and 95; PSA NM 7: 3 cards w/#'s 62, 69 and 83. Ungraded Cards - Including: #s 1 Curly (EX), 2 Moe (EX/MT), 3 Larry (EX) and 96 (VG/EX). Overall, the set grades 15% NM to NM-MT+, 46% EX to EX/MT, 39% lesser.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
