    1941 R157/R158 Uncle Sam/Home Defense (#'s 1-120) Complete Set Plus Wrapper. The marketing dept. at Gum Inc. knew that the gum card would be an ideal propaganda tool to teach youngsters about the war that would soon be facing them. In times of complete uncertainty, the United States on the brink of entering World War II, these cards reminded Americans just how mighty our nation's military is. The Uncle Sam cards show each of the four branches of the military. The wrapper presents at the EX level with some light staining and the normal folds. Includes: Graded - PSA NM-MT 8: 1 card, #11; PSA NM 7: 5 cards, #'s 6, 12, 14, 43 and 61; PSA EX-MT 6: 1 card, #69; PSA EX 5: 1 card, #9. Grades 5% NM to NM/MT, 52% EX to EX/MT, 33% VG to VG/EX, 10% lesser.
